The library offers notary services, free of charge, by appointment only for the residents of our community (Emmaus, Macungie borough, Upper Milford township) with the following guidelines: Please call the library at 610-965-9284 to make an appointment, indicating the type of notarization requested. The person requesting notarization must personally appear before the Notary at the time of the notarization. Valid photo identification is required, such as driver’s license, government issued non-driver ID card, passport or other form of government identification providing it is current and contains a signature or a photograph. Documents that contain blank spaces should be filled out by the signer prior to notarization. An original signature of the person requesting the notarization is required. Only documents in English can be notarized at this time. If a witness is needed, the witness must be known by the person requesting notarization and provide a valid photo identification as listed above.
